I want to amputate my chin!

Said chin has caused me no end of problems since I was about 12!

My chin is now a host to all of these:

  1. Cystic acne (even a couple of Roaccutane courses haven't sorted it fully!)

  2. Increasing black bristles (despite 3 weekly threading and daily plucking)

  3. Now for the final indignity - the occasional ingrown bristle causing a spot and requiring digging out with a needle and then making an attractive scab for a week. (Despite exfoliation). I dug one out the other day literally the size of a tree branch.

Amputation of said chin is the way forward, right?

If only! Since I hit the menopause, the majority of my chin/tash hairs have been black! Never had black hair in my life! I've often thought of chin amputation, but I think it would look horrendous side on!!!
To be honest, the more I've plucked, I'm finding the slower the hairs are to grow now.
My mate has just had laser treatment, she ended up with a chin full of spots, but now they're going, she's happy with the result... I bought a No No years ago, but it was a No No from me! First time I used it I burnt my chin (passed that one off as a "hot cheese on my pizza" accident!) And the smell of burnt hair made me gag!

Laser treatment. From someone who knows what they are doing. Will heal the skin kill the spots and zap the black hairs.

Seconding laser, it's brilliant.

Laser is what you need

Cheaper than amputation

Philips Lumea has helped with mine. No hairs now. This only works on dark hairs though!

Laser clinic, they have the proper machines. No idea what they're called but it's really worth it.
