If you didn’t have similar jeans?
Tell me about bottoms, shoes, coats and bags

I like it. I might be tempted to go for the 1970s art teacher vibe with a tan corduroy midi skirt and heeled knee boots.

Or more contemporary with wide leg cord trousers and ankle boots

I have brown curduroy trousers but wouldn’t it look too brown?

Lovely blouse! I think I would wear it with cream coloured denims, like those ones:

I'd wear black jeans with either black ankle boots or long brown boots

totalnamechanger · 27/01/2024 15:44

Black? Black jeans or black leather trousers or black satin skirt. I think it would look nice with black bottoms (if I haven’t laboured the point 😁) but in a different textured material. Black sandals or sling backs and black bag (medium or clutch depending on how long you’re out). I’d pick one of the colours out for jewellery and wear red lipstick.

totalnamechanger · 27/01/2024 15:47

Black, cream or camel coat

soupfiend · 27/01/2024 15:57

Smart black trousers but with flat shoes, not trainers

Camel coat?

Britpopbaby · 27/01/2024 18:45

I might go all 70s style and wear a denim maxi skirt and knee high suede boots

123Valentina123 · 27/01/2024 19:40

Wide cut, well-fitted at the waist jeans.

Deargodletitgo · 27/01/2024 21:08

Wide leg blue jeans, long coat, trainers, probably asics ones or new balance.

That would be brilliant.

I looked on the link you provided and at the other items which I like, but why is one particular style of shoe, 60s looking, called "babies"? It's bizarre!

Elfblossom · 28/01/2024 03:01

There are a lot of variables.

Do you want to style it up or down or both?

What shape/size are you?
Heels or flats?

IamNannyPlum · 28/01/2024 08:17

@ImJustMadAboutSaffron I think that’s just what they call that style of shoe in France. “Babies” as opposed to “Mary Jane’s.”

IamNannyPlum · 28/01/2024 08:18

Beautiful blouse. I would wear with black trousers and a camel coat.

HappyHedgehog247 · 28/01/2024 12:34

Great blouse!
