What to wear to a spa day?

I’m going for my first spa day, what am I supposed to wear? Any tips please? I can also choose two 25 minute treatments, what are your favourites? Any advice would be appreciated.

Swimsuit for the spa and something comfortable for going home in, they usually provide a robe and slippers for you to wear in outside areas & during lunch. I usually go with a hot stone treatment and head/shoulder massage.

Wear whatever you like to travel. When you arrive you'll change into swimming costume /bikini and they'll give you a robe. You might want to check if they give you slippers, if not, it's worth taking flip flops.

Treatment wise, I like massages!

I would take an extra costume. I hate sitting in my soggy costume and robe.

You change into your swimsuit as soon as you get there anyway. I like to plan any food at the end after any treatments so I can be dry and dressed. I always go in jeans etc. usual weekend stuff.
I love a massage.

Thanks for the tips. I was thinking of a back and neck massage and mini facial? Anyone tried these?

I agree with PP about taking 2 swimming costumes. Wear your normal clothes to and from the spa.

Facial and massage sound lovely. Have a great day.

Arrive in whatever you feel comfortable in as you’ll be changing immediately, but no big coat you have to shove in a locker. I’d up the ante and take 3 or 4 swimming costumes if you have them, seriously! Went to a spa day last week and I was in and out of the water all day so used them all. Definitely nicer to slip into a dry swimming costume to lounge about in. The rest of the day you’ll be in a bath robe, or possibly gym wear if it’s the type of Spa with fitness classes. Take a plastic bag to put all the wet stuff in. Remember to take flip flops unless they provide them. Book any treatments at the end of the day so don’t wash off the lotions in the pool. (Except pedicure, do that just before lunch so they can dry properly without getting smudged by having to put shoes/trainers on). Have a lovely time!

These are good. Manicures and pedicures are wasted on me but a massage and a facial add to the relaxing!

id probably opt for a scalp massage over the facial but that’s only coz I have facials every month normally. Was disappointed with Indian head massage as it was seated and not very relaxing.

im off to a spa on Tuesday and can’t wait!

I go in my leggings & sports bra ready for the gym. Get the gym out of the way, then I can change into my swimming costume & relax!

YY to spare swimmers & flip flops.

You can't beat a massage.

If you go in gym kit, remember dry clothes to come home in.
