Share your gamechangers! I’ve had a tough 12 months, been poorly recently and look tired and worn down! Help!

What a great thread, I'll be interested in the tips. I take an omega 3 supplement, drink plenty water. I eat fairly well and include veg or fruit with each meal and protein with each meal. I don't skip meals. I think it all helps with my skin. I work night shifts though and that does take its toll.

SLEEP. As much as you can manage. There's absolutely no substitute

EAT. Actual food, regularly. Plenty of plants, plenty of protein, easy on the sugar. Aim for 30 different types of plant based foods every week - that's fruit, veg, whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, pulses. Allow yourself some indulgence. Drink plenty of water, and easy on the alcohol and caffeine

MOVE. I move every single day - non negotiable, unless I'm ill. Could be yoga, walk, spin class or lifting weights at the gym. I look and feel so much better for it

Great thread OP I'm hanging around for the tips too! I think lifestyle plays a big part and regularity of caring for your self over spendiing loads on expensive or fancy products.

Little things like a brisk walk, yoga (some good videos on YouTube) or taking a minute to massage your face when cleansing. Taking a bit of mental time out also helps whether that's reading a book, visiting an art gallery, gardening (probably the wrong time of year for that though!) having a nice scented bath, music, crafts or anything else you enjoy!

Hope things get easier for you OP

Drink lots of water. Try to sleep as much as possible. Silk pillowcase.
colour wow products changed my hair, as did a GHD hairdryer, much better blow dry.
invest in make up products that are properly matched to your colouring/skin.
i hate to say it because all the influencers shill it but skin and me has made my skin transform.

When I was in a bad place I signed up for birch box which is a products delivery service monthly . Usually new products that came in trial sizes for hair make up or body and I’m pretty boxes. As I’d not experimented with make up particularly for years it was a real thrill and a pleasure to receive the boxes and try everything out . I ordered several full size products and discovered all sorts of lovely things to use whilst my subscription was ongoing . Very recommended as a lift and a treat to oneself

Lovely tips so far!

I’ve just stopped my collagen subscription - £20 per month. I haven’t noticed much difference other than very strong nails and I’d imagine internal benefits too. What changes have you seen? Which collagen products do you use?

Im thinking of trying Tretoin prescription for my skin - anti-ageing
