Hello - I need a new pressed powder and I wondered if anyone has one that they like.

Thank you.

I have bought this Beauty Pie one many times.

I second this. In another league.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush flawless finish powder - the best I’ve ever used (and I’ve tried many).

justasmalltownmum · 26/01/2024 17:44

The Huda beauty one

Grazyna80 · 26/01/2024 17:48

By Terry, I find it fantastic, doesn’t sit in the lines.

ApolloandDaphne · 26/01/2024 17:55

I use the Laura Mercier translucent powder. It's great on my old skin!

ByTerry also

Another vote for Laura Mercier - I'm 55 and it's the best I've found.

Another vote for By Terry - the Hyaluronic Hydra Powder

Beauty Pie! I got it on Amazon, didn’t have to join.

BlindurErBóklausMaður · 26/01/2024 18:26

Revolution Pro CC powder.
Costs less than a tenner and is the best I've ever used.

iliveinhappyvalley · 26/01/2024 18:28

Beauty Pie One Powder Wonder. I joined recently on a two month trial and I think it was 20% off. I bought 5 of them and will cancel before I start getting charged membership. I am 56

By Terry. It’s fantastic

Laura Mercier but I use the loose powder and have a little travel one for out and about. Amazing stuff and lasts ages.

If you are feeling speedy, Hourglass Ambient lighting powder. They come in a range of colours. I have dim light for winter and radiant light for summer/bronzer.

Spendy 😂

Ruthietuthie · 27/01/2024 03:13

Also recommending the NARS one posted above. I use the clear one, rather than one with a color, and it is lovely. Particularly good if you have some lines and wrinkles.

JonnyTheDogFacedBoy · 27/01/2024 07:25

The Charlotte tilbury one sits in my fine lines and looks talc-y. I don't rate it for dry, older skin personally.

The huda beauty one is good for me, and hourglass ambient lighting powder.

Mirrormeback · 27/01/2024 07:37

I like Rimmel Stay matte pressed powder to keep my foundation in place

I then apply Hourglass finishing powder in Dim which I've used for years now after applying all my make up followed by a bit of highlighter on cheek bones

I do have other powders including loose powders but the Rimmel is my favourite

Ilovemyshed · 27/01/2024 07:43

I used to use foundation and powder, then I switched to a different foundation, applied with a brush and finished with a setting spray. Its much better on my older skin!

I genuinely thought I was the only one not that impressed with the CT one after the way everyone raves on about it. Won't repurchase.

Laura Mercier is nice but I use the loose one. Quick light dusting with a brush.
It still doesn't keep the shine away all day. Almost 54 (in a few weeks) and after reading for years that menopause will dry your skin out, I'm still as shiny as ever! Olive oily skin. At least it keeps the wrinkles away 😂

I have this in diffused light and it is amazing. It really brightens my skin without looking obvious.
