Face book spamming me with VB eyeliner ads. Is it any good?

I had an unfortunate experience with CT rock and kohl years ago. A load of rubbish that stayed on my eyes for a minute. I may as well have just drawn it over my cheeks from the start.
the VB stuff looks lovely. Very expensive. I do wonder whether it is worth it .( probably not).
always searching for something to work with my green/ hazel eyes but have never found ‘the one’.
anyone love/ hate this eyeliner?

It smudges like mad and doesnt set. I was really disappointed.

Agree with above. It's greasy and not great at all.
Charlotte tilbury colour chameleon liner is excellent - you choose the shade to make your eye colour pop. I love mine!

i bought some Sam bunting stuff- it’s pretty good as it happens, but omg the constant sales pitches are really putting me off.
i actually think i have a couple of colour chameleon eye liners somewhere- forgot about those. Will dig them out!🙂

I really love the VB makeup - and that includes the eyeliners - soft, smudgy and stays on.

Also, the packaging is well put together and looks high end onlike a lot of other brands - CT, Laura Mercia, Bobby Brown have all fallen apart which is a bug bear for me. However, it is expensive so I usually wait for some sort of discount.

On another note, I was lucky enough to get some Sezane make up last year and this was very good - not sure what their plans are for this though as not on general sale.

I completely disagree! I absolutely love the VB eyeliners - they're gorgeous. Lovely to apply, smudge well to create a smokey eye and then dry and set so don't run down the face. Best eyeliner I've ever had!

If you like then to be smudgy i agree the texturee and colours are good. I have never had one set for me though. Tried it on my hand just to see if it was my skincare/ facial skin affecting it but still didn't dry on my hand either after an hour it still wiped straight off. Sad cos i bought the set of 5

They are beautiful….and meant to be smudgy! The pigment and quality are of a v high standard.

I have blue eyes and have the Fig (purple) and I think it’s called Sea Grey. Both are gorgeous and and make my eyes look amazing.

I got one for Christmas and really rate it. It goes on beautifully, doesn't pull at the eyelid and stays put all day. I got it in Cocoa as it's a fairly neutral one and absolutely love it for day to day wear. I'm now looking for another one so I can alternate. I don't find it greasy at all. Apparently it also has very few allergens, not that that affects me.

@MamaToABeautifulBoy is the fig one good with blue eyes? I was wondering about the navy or olive one next.

I know which ad you're talking about and I decided to recreate with a Trish McAvoy pencil and it was incredible to be honest! Really really rate the pencil! Doesn't really answer your question...but that's my 2p

I got cocoa at Christmas and I’m really disappointed. The pigment is great but it’s far too soft, off within an hour or so. I’m back to Bobbi brown gel pot that doesn’t move. Think I might try smudging it right out as almost an eyeshadow

I got the black one for my birthday and it's GREAT. It smudges like mad when you first put it on, but once you get it right it looks amazing and stays put all day.

Getting the same but only 2 colours haven't sold out, so completely wasted on me as I'm not a blue or green eyeliner kinda gal! Wish they'd stop if they don't have stock.

Lots of mixed thoughts from people!
I have somewhat hooded eyes and I think quite oily eyelids. I think that makes it harder to find something that will stay.
i had forgotten the tip about using eyeshadow over.

Yes! Stunning on blue eyes. I have to smudge well or it can look ‘hard’ but when applied correctly, it looks beautiful. The olive one would be gorgeous too.
