Space NK- do they give samples of foundation?

Just that! I'm on the hunt for a new foundation (have awful problems getting one pale and neutral) as B Brown has discontinued mine.

I have used NARS in the past but made a mistake buying Gobi (too yellow.)
I bought it in a J Lewis store where the lighting was awful and the assts didn't give samples. I want to try it again and have narrowed it down to 2 possible shades.

I want to try a nearby Space NK store (well, it's an hour away!) and wonder if they would let me try a couple of shades at home.

Estee L & Clinique etc give a small amount to try for 10 days.

Yes, they gave me a few small pots to try at home which was great so I could buy the right colour.

Yes they do. I got matched in Space NK to a Laura Mercier (vanilla) and it’s the best match I’ve ever had. She had no pots so no sample that day so I took a punt and it’s great. But yes, they normally do samples.

Yes. Last time they gave me 3 samples which had enough for me to try them for 3 or 4 days each. Good thing too because I bought the one I was least convinced by in the shop which turned out to be fantastic over the course of the day.

Foundation is such an expense now for anything mid to higher-end that I don't want to waste money.

Just curious as to what you tried in the end and what worked well/didn’t work well. I’m also pale and (I think) fairly neutral and find most shades to be too yellow on me.

@BagsaMunroe they sell Naras in Boots and it might be worth going there if it’s a big branch and asking for a sample. You could also try this site for shade matching https://www.temptalia.com/foundation-matrix/
