Anyone using Latanoprost eye drops for cosmetic reasons only?

I’ve just been diagnosed with Glaucoma 🙄 Caught early and treated, all should be fine. I have to use Latanoprost eye drops every evening to reduce ocular pressure. It turns out one of the side effects is (due to effecting the hair follicles) is darker and longer eyelashes and apparently cosmetic clinics give them to people for this purpose 😮 I wonder if this just happens in America, or if people use them for this purpose here.

It is a prescription only medicine in the UK.

I've never heard of it being prescribed in this way. There are other products and serums that do similar things and are commonly used such as obagi lash serum or revitalash.

Yes, but cosmetic treatment clinics prescribe things that are only available on prescription.
