I recommend Umberto Giannini curl jelly! This isn't an ad. Just that I have tried every hair product there is for my very difficult hair, and this one works for control and shine. Plus it's not expensive.

As you were.

Is it this one? https://www.umbertogiannini.com/collections/curls-waves/products/curl-jelly I might try it, I currently use Only Curls curl creme.
I have the same hair, going silicone free has really helped and I’m very late to this party, but a diffuser attachment has also improved matters for me.

Umberto Giannini | Curl Jelly Scrunching Jelly

The vegan Holy Grail for curly girls. No really, it truly is the product to change your life if you battle with frizz, flop, whatever your curls throw at you on a daily basis.

Yes, that's the one! I don't do the whole Curly Girl regimen but I attempt to co-wash once a week and use a microfibre towel, which has helped with the frizz. I also use a diffuser.

This really helps me give me defined waves rather than frizz.
