I am looking for a compact foundation and powder in one for travelling when I can't take liquids . Please give me some recommendations.

I'd like to know too, but I recently bought a Rimmel one that's terrible 😐

have a look at Bare Minerals foundation powder…. They usually have an outlet in Boots or maybe in John Lewis if there is one near you. Hopefully there would be a consultant to help you with the shades. But you can build it up if you want more or less coverage and you could take it travelling as no liquid element. You would need to buy a brush to apply it with as well - they sell that on the counter too

I've been using Elizabeth Arden compact since I was 18 and I'm 49 now. It is seen as old fashioned but I love it. You can build coverage and it stays put all day. It used to be cheap as chips but it got a makeover and now is more expensive for less product, but personally I still think its worth it.

Dior do a great one. Dior Forever Natural compact. Lots of shades and you can refill. It’s expensive but worth it. Also has a decent sized mirror.

Just don't get the Maybelline Superstay one. TikTok fooled me into thinking it was great. It is bloody awful.

I second Bare Minerals powder. Has a lovely finish and not bad for your skin. I'm prone to breakouts with anything else.

You can get Laura Geller from QVC and Amzon. Balance and Brighten or Balance and Glow. I love Balance and Glow. Comes in a number of colours. I use light (foundation shade normally warm ivory). Have a look on the QVC website and listen to the spiel . They do nice blushers too and I love the eyeshadow and eyeliners.
