Help! Annoying fat/skin wearing a bra

I had a significant weight loss years ago, and unfortunately have some loose skin/fat overhang when I wear a normal bra.

I don't know the word for it but it's at the side of my boob, under my armpit, so the skin just hangs over and can't be tucked into the cup as it's at the side.

I'd LOVE to wear anything other than a sports bra as that's all I wear! Any advice?

Following as I’ve got exactly the same issue in the same area.

Scoop as much of it forward into the cup as you can , once the bra is on. This is what they do in fittings at Rigby and Peller. It’s surprising how much of it will shift!

You might have a tail of spence which is breast tissue in your arm pit area. It's not misplaced tissue due to badly fitted bras , it's part of your arm pit.

It's saggy skin due to weight loss, sadly I can't drag it into my cup, I think I need a bra with a super high side, if they exist!

I was going to recommend Molke bras for this, but think you maybe want something a bit more attractive (I love Molke, but sexy they ain't)

Charlieradioalphapapa · 14/01/2024 20:34

Medussi same here. I also need a lot of support as I heavy boobs . When I get high sided bras the wiring digs in to the top of my rib cage/armpits.
I don’t care about sexiness, just something to contain the overspill and give enough support. Does Molke have a lot of ‘holding up ‘ power? LaCuntiatta

When I had a fitting at John Lewis I had the same thing and the fitter said there's nothing you can do about it, it's not about being fat or thin, some people just have it - effectively (in a charming John Lewis way) tough luck.

Goddess bras and Elomi bras are very high cut at armpits in the larger cups sizes.

LaCuntiatta · 14/01/2024 20:45

I find they do @Charlieradioalphapapa . I like the original ones (not flexifit). They are a bugger to get on at first though!

soupfiend · 14/01/2024 20:51

Ive got terrible skin problems and no tissue really, I have to fold them up and cant fill the cup even though if I buy a smaller cup size its all falling out

The best Ive found at the moment is the full cup, total support M+S non wired, really full cup, probably too high for most people but I need it high

Charlieradioalphapapa · 14/01/2024 23:30

Thanks LaCuntiatta. I’ll check out their website. I’ve seen them recommended on here but assumed they’d not provide enough uplift for floppy, heavy boobs.

LaCuntiatta · 15/01/2024 06:48

No worries- I wear a HH cup and find they work on me. There is a video somewhere on SM of a lady with something a lot bigger than that who demonstrates it working for her too. Think she was something like a 48M (I'm making that up, but it was something like that).

Landlubber2019 · 15/01/2024 06:51

Big boobs here and I've been converted to the snag bras, full cup. Could these help?

FinallyHere · 15/01/2024 07:12

As one of the more generously endowed in the overflowing flesh stakes, I'd really recommend a visit to Rigby and Peller in Knightsbridge. Completely transformative.

Not cheap but so so worth it for a hatchet really fits and ahem looks great too. We are all different so finding the style and size that really fits is a game change.

Totally worth saving up and have an outing
