I can’t bear the feel of underwires but as a FF I do need some support and shape. Also don’t want to take out a second mortgage but seems inevitable 🙄

Elomi

Fantasie side support

ClaraPalaver · 11/01/2024 20:14

I really like Freya side support. Starlight, I think.

HamHand · 11/01/2024 20:15

I’m the same cup size and Freya deco is my everyday bra. Comfy and a great shape

HamHand · 11/01/2024 20:16

Scrap that, it’s the Freya Idol in fact

bookwormcrazy · 11/01/2024 20:16

Have a look at lemonade dolls. I am an F and I have several of their sets. They look nice as well as being comfortable.

NothingTraLaLa · 11/01/2024 20:20

The Fantasie Rebecca is my go-to for comfort and support.

Smartishpants · 11/01/2024 20:25

And Brastop.com is great for sale bras, if you know what you want.

Chimchar · 11/01/2024 20:30

I'm a KK cup. I discovered Molke bras a few years ago and haven't worn a 'normal' bra since.
They're so comfortable and give great support.

Mairzydotes · 11/01/2024 20:54

Molke. They are amazing.

HereComesColinFrissel · 11/01/2024 21:17

Ha weirdly I asked this same question an hour or so before you, but clearly in the wrong section as no responses 🤣

I feel your pain OP, I have had a look at the Molke website and I'm going to try those

Good luck, please let me know if you find any others x

Boxofsockss · 11/01/2024 21:19

freya are my go to. And they fit so nice

TheGhostILoveTheMost · 11/01/2024 21:24

Elomi

Floopani · 11/01/2024 21:25

You could try Snag bras, no underwire. I'm a 36H and love the one I just bought.

Paw2024 · 11/01/2024 21:29

Elomi Matilda is so comfy I can sleep in it

RaininSummer · 11/01/2024 21:31

I like my 42ffs from Next. No wires

Runnyyolkplease · 11/01/2024 21:36

Elomi are fantastic but wired so never going to be super comfy.
Took a chance on sugar candy and it arrived today - I’m quite impressed with the structure and separation without wires. It is t super supportive (quite a bit of bounce when I jump) but it will do for a casual bra.

WilhelminaBunter · 11/01/2024 21:37

I like Molke and Big Bloomer Co fuller cup

MerryMidwinter · 11/01/2024 22:11

Thanks for the suggestions. Has anyone tried Shapermint? They always pop up on my Insta and sound great but they’re in the US so it might be a pain if I needed to return or exchange.

M+S flexifit, not wired, very comfy.

CaramelEmporium · 11/01/2024 22:17

Molke flexifit. Love it. Hated the Molke Original though.

Back21970 · 12/01/2024 11:51

M&S Flexfit the best non wired I’ve tried however it still gives a bit of the mono boob look in my opinion.

Best overall bra for me is Panache Envy, I’m a 32G, it’s wired with stretch lace cups (great if you are slightly bigger on one side like I am).

They are about £36 though but there are always some on Vinted, I’ve bought a couple that had obviously just been tried on and never actually worn - maybe worth a go before you splash out.

CorsicaDreaming · 12/01/2024 14:05

Primadonna Deauville
They are second mortgage territory but you can often get cheaper in sales if you are happy to go for more unusual colours.

Full on underwires and v supportive but really comfortable (assuming you are fitted and wearing the correct size, that can often be the issue if they feel uncomfortable).

They last for ages, especially If you hand wash in warm (not hot) water and a gentle laundry handwashing detergent, then gently squeeze out worst of water in a towel, and leave to air dry. They last for ages, so much longer than normal bras, before losing support and elasticity. And stay more comfortable (washing machines tend to twist underwires, then uncomfortable ).

I've just wrote the following on some sites for larger ladies... this is a game changer.
Ladies.. do you have trouble finding big comfy supportive bras?.Being a 48 J l found it extremely hard apart from Yours clothing underwired and only in black and white.. the wires were most uncomfortable.
I've tried bras that feel like straight jackets and loads that just don't fit.. then l saw a video for SNAG bras.
I buy their tights but never thought about the bras .. because l had given up hope.
They tell you how to measure and pick your size.
They are £30 .. might seem expensive but I've paid more for bras that don't fit and sent back.
These go from size 1 to 9. I measured and was a size 7 and it fits perfectly. . Holds me up and so comfy. Has straps to alter and four hook fastening.
What's more there is plenty of colours to choose from.
Worth every penny.
