Apparently on the first night, we all need to wear short black trousers (like city shorts then i imagine), a white top, and flat black shoes.

I am highly suss about why we need flat black shoes.

On the second night we have to dress up, most are wearing skirts dresses etc, I don't know what to buy. I hate shopping for clothes for specific occasions.

Looking on ebay for dresses at the mo.

Anyone like this

I don't actually know where we are going, but assume it will be out for a meal, bars and club.

I am stuck.

The dress code for the first night is because there is a theme. Apparently there are jackets to go over the plain white tops. I have a feeling the theme is pink ladies. Although as a latecomer to it, I might not even get one of those anyway.

What shoes with that dress do you think ??

MamaG · 18/03/2008 12:47

I'd be furious if somebody forced me to wear flat shoes

what about some wedge soled sandals with the dress?

CrackerOfNuts · 18/03/2008 12:52

Fab idea mamag. I don't mind wearing flats for the themed night, but not for the 2nd night. I am only 5'2 so will look dumpy in flats with a dress.

OP posts:
MamaG · 18/03/2008 12:53

Yes, I agree. I'm taller than you (by an inch, lol) and feel crap in flats.

CrackerOfNuts · 18/03/2008 12:56

So that dress would be ok in bar and club ??

I also like this one but it's more than i want to pay really.

Like blue dress. Think would look good on a night out in Spain. Agree with wedge sandals idea too.

CrackerOfNuts · 18/03/2008 14:57

Ta will order it then now before I change my mind.

Why would it be a weekend from hell? mine was great, no kids, no partners, and lots of drinking and dancing till the early hours!!

CrackerOfNuts · 18/03/2008 17:01

Oh FFs have just had word of what the theme is for the first night, and i need to get a white blouse, tie, waistcoat and trilby hat apparently.

I am not impressed, at all.

OP posts:
