Cocktail attire for destination wedding

I'm going to be attending a wedding in America next year, but nothing like being prepared early!

The invitation is for cocktail attire, and I would love to find something really beautiful, and light, as it will be warm. Googling is bringing up all the sort of usual suspects, and a lot of the very same kind of thing. I wondered whether anybody knew of any really lovely places where you can get fairly unique dresses, not looking for anything outlandish, but just want to avoid the temu style websites.

Any steer would be much appreciated. I'm not normally dresswearer...

I'm a size 10, fairly petite, in my 40s.

Serena Bute has a sale on - there's a satin midi in the sale I would have bought if I didn't mind my back being on show! There's a couple of other dresses too - a silk tank and a tiered summer dress. 'Cocktail' attire can encompass a number of options tbh. Do you have any idea how dressy you are expected to be?

I think it will be fairly open-minded if that makes sense. It will be formal, but not ridiculous. A lot of it will be outside. I'll definitely check out that site!! Thank you so much.
