Help me find something to wear to interview!

I’m on maternity leave and applying for jobs. I’m 3 stone heavier than pre children, and I’m still breastfeeding. I’m an entirely different shape. I am 5’5”. I used to be 65kg 8-10 and am now 85kg, zero idea what that is in dress size. I live in leggings that don’t fit and oversized sweatshirts. My favourite things in my wardrobe were from Reiss, White Company and Phase Eight but I don’t think any of that would fit now, even if I sized up. My boobs are the size of my baby’s head, cup size has jumped from a D to a G. I have one dress I feel good in, from Seasalt, but far too casual and a navy breastfeeding dress that isn’t flattering. I’m looking for something that would accommodate my giant bust, hips, mum tum and curvier shape but I only have a couple of days (interview on Monday). Looking for plain navy or black. Under £50 (statutory maternity pay sucks). Please and thank you, I want to feel good about myself for this interview.

Congratulations on your job interview. Do you have tights, boots, shoes? Would a dark coloured dress work? I'd look at charity shops if you have decent ones where you are for a navy or black knee-length knit dress, quite plain, that you could accessorise with nice hair and maybe a scarf/belt etc. If you get knit then you don't have to be super precise on sizing. M&S day dresses are usually OK for under £50.

Or do you have a friend you could borrow from? You're probably about a size 14 which is a very common dress size!

Obviously this depends on your sector, if you're a corporate lawyer you might need a suit but for the kind of jobs I go for a dark dress is fine!
