looks better in rl and without the belt`

I saw it in there last night but it was about 1am so couldn't make my mind up, what do we think?

I kind of think it looks like something my Nana used to wear.

sherby · 18/03/2008 08:15

lol

moopymoo · 18/03/2008 08:16

i think you need good legs to carry the length off. Its pretty.

sherby · 18/03/2008 08:16

dont worry i've got good legs

Vulgar · 18/03/2008 08:46

I think it's lovely.

might have to get one too!

widgypog · 18/03/2008 09:13

its lovely. i like the black and white one in pic too

nailpolish · 18/03/2008 09:24

its a bit frumpy

its a fine line with tea dress thingys

topshop and dorothy perkins have far nicer

sherby · 18/03/2008 09:28

Agree with it being a fine line, it looks more fitted in rl.

I really like the pattern though, will go back for another look

OP posts:
nailpolish · 18/03/2008 09:29

try it on

thats always the decider

MrsBadger · 18/03/2008 09:30

tricky

the cutesy shape and the cutesy print would be too much for me

nailpolish · 18/03/2008 09:30

i think with me its the red thats putting me off

i dont suit red

i like the black and white one though, and the skirt is nice

i just cant wear red next to my face

(obv that has nothing to do with whether you should buy it or not! )

Coca · 18/03/2008 09:32

It looks a little like something from the early 90's grunge era. But as long as you don't team it with Doc Martins you should be fine!

sherby · 18/03/2008 09:35

lol at coca

I wasnt' intending on wearing it with DMs I must say

I don't know why they've put that belt with it, looks much better without

I am getting my summer dresses in now before they all sell out or end up on ebay for twice the price

I loved that one cod linked to at New Look but all sold out in my size

OP posts:
Oliveoil · 18/03/2008 09:35

I don't like the length or the belt

belts make you look like a sack of spuds imo (and I am skinny)

pattern and shape ok

try it on and see

newgirl · 18/03/2008 09:39

i like it except the length is too short - it needs another 5 cm else it looks cheaply cut

prob ok if you are petite

Seasider · 18/03/2008 11:15

Pretty, wearable, cheap. Why not!

Quadrophenia · 18/03/2008 14:24

Quadrophenia · 18/03/2008 14:30

sherby · 18/03/2008 15:04
