Daily sun protection for my totally unreasonable skin

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend a daily facial suncream?

My skin is super sensitive to everything I put on it, in terms of it breaking out in spots rather than allergies. It took years and years to find makeup that didn’t cause issues. I turned 30 last year and I’ve only just found a moisturiser I can use that doesn’t cause spots (the Avene sterile moisturiser).

Before I had my two DC I wore foundation everyday that had SPF30 so didn’t worry too much about a daily suncream. I’m just too busy these days with two toddlers to run around after to wear makeup daily. So I need a daily suncream!

Anyone found one that doesn’t give them spots? Maybe something like a mist? Something really light and not oily?

Have you tried Ceravé?

La Roche Posay Anthelios might suit you.
Biore watery essence is another excellent one.
Garnier do an SPF 50 mist, but mists are really to top up during the day. Their facial sunscreen for sensitive skin is great.

Biore Watery Essence is my go-to, but I'm using a sample bottle of Murad Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 30 PA+++ right now and I'm very impressed: Sinks in well, not at all greasy, a nice amount of moisture, good scent (lightly orange) and cooperates well with makeup.

Brilliant, thank you for the recommendations! Do you know where to buy the Biore from? I can see it in Superdrug but some reviews are saying it’s not the proper one?

It is the proper one in Superdrug. It disappeared from UK retailers for a while but is back now.
