Non-surgical rhinoplasty

Hi! Posting to share my experience. I had a non-surgical rhinoplasty recently with dermal filler.

I went to a doctor in London. I have a straight nose with a slightly droopy tip when I smile, so he placed filler to lift the tip. Overall it took around 10 minutes and wasn’t painful.

the photos are the evening before and then the evening of - there’s a bit of swelling. Even so, I wish I did it sooner! My nose has a bit more definition - it’s a slight change. It doesn’t droop down as much when I smile so looks more consistent in motion/different angles.

How much did it cost?

2024i · 05/01/2024 21:23

£300! This includes a follow up appointment in 4 weeks if a top up is required

Is the right after?

decisionssmecisions · 05/01/2024 21:26

If so it looks bigger to me but is that the swelling?

Grimmz · 05/01/2024 21:28

Do you need to re-fill it regularly, eg annually?

GettingStuffed · 05/01/2024 21:33

TBH there's hardly any difference I worked with someone who had both nasal passages made smaller, she came back and asked everyone if they'd noticed anything different. Not one person said yes. I think if you think there's a problem with you nose then get it done but it's not going to make a real difference to your looks

I don't agree. I can see a change!

Do yoi feel it was worth it?

Mrstwiddle · 06/01/2024 04:07

I can see the difference and agree it looks better, do you know how long the effect should last?

tresales · 06/01/2024 05:15

Looks lovely OP, going to get the same done but to my dorsal hump this month

CharlotteRumpling · 06/01/2024 05:18

Looks more or less the same to me. You already had a great nose.

2024i · 06/01/2024 06:35

Thanks everyone. I went to a doctor that produces more natural results.

The subtle change has already made me feel more confident!

With nose filler, the doctor said it’s safer to build it up gradually. Once the swelling subsides at week 2, I can see the final result then can decide if I want the included top up to build the shape slightly. After that, top ups are around 9-12 months to maintain.

I’d like to lift the tip slightly more but taking it too far runs risk of making it look bulbous - Nose filler adds, not subtracts, so there’s a limit to reshaping the nose with it. If I wanted a bigger change, surgery would be the gold standard

I don't mean to be rude, but I can't even tell the difference (I don't think there's anything wrong with your nose)

2024i · 06/01/2024 07:50

I don’t find that rude, that’s good! I never thought there was anything “wrong” with my nose either - I just wanted a bit more structure to the tip. At least it’s natural to you, but I can notice the change x

I can definitely tell the difference, OP, and I think it looks great. A really subtle change.

Would you be willing to post a before/after of how it has improved the drooping tip when you smile? I've been looking into this procedure for some time as I have a small bump in the dorsal hump, but I also have a droopy tip when smiling and I would love that improved!

Thanks for sharing

astarsheis · 06/01/2024 07:59

I can see the difference and it looks very natural.
I'm thinking of getting it done in a few months time before my daughter's wedding.
Do you mind sharing who did it for you? I think the price is good and I can easily get in to London.

PurpleQualityStreetDress · 06/01/2024 08:07

Has it made your nostrils more visible looking head on? Sometimes filling the nose profile cause shadows or make eyes look different, further apart, more recessed cast by the higher nose profile or Avatarish or back of a spoon face shape. This is meant generally not about your results specificalky, op as I can't see your whole face from front view.

I wouldn't get fillers if you plan on a rhino as some bits remain even after 'dissolving'

Did they advise you to avoid wearing glasses for a while?

BlackSwan · 06/01/2024 08:10

I don't understand how people can't see a difference. It's a marked difference to me & while I think before looked beautiful, I think after also looks beautiful in a different way. It's your nose, if you prefer after then it's a fantastic result.

RampantIvy · 06/01/2024 08:14

I can't see a difference. What are you seeing that I can't @BlackSwan?

2024i · 06/01/2024 09:11

@PurpleQualityStreetDress Here are photos from the front- there might still be some residual swelling in the 2nd photo (after). I don’t feel there’s much difference in my nostrils etc. No eyewear for 2 weeks!

@BlackSwan @astarsheis thank you both so much! X

@frayble I’ll can try to dig out photos later. I also found information about nose Botox online to address a drooping tip when you smile! That would be the ideal solution for me, but there aren’t many UK practitioners

I'm looking at a clinic in London called Dermamina.

pinksofashoes · 07/01/2024 14:59

Can I ask the name of the doctor/practice, please? Looking to have this done.

Wytchy · 07/01/2024 15:09

I'm glad you went to a doctor. I read an article about botched non-surgical nose jobs and it was horrific. Had no idea it was quite so high risk.

I can't see any difference beyond in the photo on the right ( is that the after?) the nostrils look bigger.
