Yesterday 2 Jan, a Thread was started about a DH who was wearing braces to hold his trousers up. That attracted some traffic in a variety of opinions, mostly critical (I did not tally them).
Today in The Times, P5 Times 2 we have half a page on Grandpacore and a photograph of a model and of Brooklyn Beckham.

Either it is the fashion and the OP's husband is a fashionable fellow or it was started by a journalist or a journalist read the thread and it inspired an article.

None of these would be surprising I don't think.
