I've done House of Colour last year, and I'm a very Bright Winter. I suit contrast, cool toned brights and my neutrals are navy, white, black and very very clear light grey. My usual wardrobe is casual - at present sweaters with jeans and a coat.
I have a navy coat which I like, and usually wear with bright jumpers, and white jeans when weather allows, but when it's raining and I can't wear white jeans I feel too dark in navy coat and dark jeans. Am wondering if I need a different coat, but what? Most of the shops sell dark olives, dark greys etc which are wrong for me. In the summer I can wear very light almost acid wash denim jacket, or ice colours which really suit me, but all darks look wrong, unless it's an all black outfit with red lips which I do from time to time.
I am trying to figure out the ideal colour combinations of coats, tops and jeans to wear in wet winter weather for bright winters like me who need contrast.
