33, size 10-12, petite but have a big belly

Hi everyone. I’m 33. I am petite at 5”3 and a size 10-12 depending on the brand.

I wouldn’t say I’m obese or anything but I have a big belly due to excess skin from weight gain a few years ago (lost it now). Seen a professional and the only solution is a tummy tuck, but I am not having one of those right now (no children).

My question is what the hell do I wear to look attractive but conceal my belly?! Everything seems to be cropped these days. I’m short-ish too so I’m struggling to know how to dress.

I tend to live in leggings. But I’d love to start wearing dresses/skirts etc and start dressing more feminine. Please help!

How about wrap dresses/tops that skim? I’m
a petite apple - size 6/8 but can look very tummyish if not careful. I wear pleather leggings or mini flare jeans with v neck wrap tops or sometimes a peplum style jumper that flutes over the tummy.
I love a wrap skirt with a tucked in top or also flat fronted trousers with a side zip
rather than a front fastening zip - I always find that front fastening zips make everything stick out more.
Also definitely get some Spanx style knickers. I find a lightweight pair with a minimum of 15% elastane good.
