Alternative to the 'holy grail' Boden leggings?

I'm trying to find some new leggings - used to absolutely LOVE the Boden ones with a wide, high waistband. They were bloody brilliant - thick, cosy and comfortable.

Sadly Boden seem to have changed the fabric and now they're terrible!

Has anyone found a good alternative? I need a wide comfy waistband - tight/digging in ones put me in a grump.

Oh dear, I ordered the Mint Velvet ones, and thought that the fabric is quite hard and scratchy, not nice at all, have just returned them!
The old Boden ones were lovely and soft, still searching for a replacement.

Have you tried M&S? They're my go to.

Lands End ones are really good, but I wouldn’t pay full price. Think I got mine for £19.

Spanx leggings are amazing but pricey

I think I'll have to go and try some on, I did have some M&S ones (from a 2-pack) and didn't like them much, maybe the single pack ones are better quality?

My girls are LOVING the fleece lined leggings that I bought for them in Primark for £7!!

Yes I think there's a single pack one that's modal touch, they're the best

I like Bamboo ones from Bam for comfort as they have the deep waistband. Acai are great too.

Primark fleece lined are excellent! Mine aren't the velvet ones, just modal/cotton and also 7 or 8 quid.

I loved the Boden ones and have tried lots of alternative, the only ones that come close are the next one but you must size down at least one size!

Can I ask which exact ones?

I have three pairs of the Boden ones. Gutted I didn’t stock up before they changed them! No other suggestions unfortunately.

I keep seeing this brand advertised on SM and am tempted to try them out. I've been looking at the below as work out leggings but they also do other styles.

They are allegedly very soft and stretchy but that could just be hype?

They're not very expensive so I'll probably try them at some point. They have pockets which I like.
