Wider fitting DM or Timberland style boots

I know they're not the same style, but I'm open to anything that will be good for walking distances when I'm not dressed. for walking boots. My feet are too wide across the front for DMs or Tims, but they're also too skinny (broad, but it's the shape, not because they're chunky) so can't wear men's. Any suggestions please anyone?

Have you thought about barefoot shoes like the Gobi Hi Boot ?

Whoops, rogue full stop there, if I wasn't dressed the boots would be the last of my worries! I'm looking for something that would work with jeans mainly, I love the look of DMs and Tims but both are too narrow.
