Treat to myself: new weekend bag

I want to invest in a weekend bag, something for those occasional over night trips to a hotel/Spa for example. I haven't found anything that makes me smile yet!

Can be leather or fabric. Classic but functional.
Green/Brown/beige/black...not bright/pastel

Under £300.

Extra points if independent company/made in UK.

I have this bag from Katie Loxton- which has lasted well (still looks good after a year or so with some long haul flights as well short weekends away). It is currently on sale so a real bargain price.

I was going to say Katie Loxton too. I have 2 small bags and have just bought my friend a weekend bag for her birthday. I'm going to treat myself to one as well. I love them.

Hmm the antler one looked nice in green. The larger one has less detail than the overnight one I think.. definitely a contender

I got this Longchamp Le Pliage bag for Christmas ind it’s great. It can be used as a very large bag or cleverly zipped around the middle to make a smaller bag that can easily be used as hand luggage. It’s also very light and has a sturdy detachable shoulder/cross body strap.

I have a large Le Pliage bag as well as a leather weekend bag. The leather one is heavy before I even start to fill it so I mostly use the Longchamp.

Leather is too heavy hence the popularity of lighter durable materials
