I’m glad to see a thread like this! AIBU is full of poor bastards moaning about their shit Christmas presents. I got some Vilhelm Parfumerie perfume which I was thrilled about as it was a complete surprise. I also got a backpack which UNZIPS all the way down which I am going to find SO useful. No more cramming stuff into my bag and getting it all squashed and broken.

Ahhh, such lovely things! I was given a pair of Chup socks. I love them so much I've just bought two more pairs even though they are ridiculously expensive. I was also given a bottle of Chanel Sycamore and the l'occitane almond shower oil.

Very please with my Nuxe lip balm and a box of soap from Yorkshire soap company.

I got some beautiful amber jewellery and an Aromatherapy Associates gift set.

Thanks @clowniform , I remember you supporting the Sycomore recomendation! Dh caught the 20% off sale Jonhn Lewis had a month or so back. The socks were the Chup ones from toast, obviously. I just looked up your cashmere wrap as I don't know the brand - looks amazing!

Excellent work from DH! N. Peal is one of those old school gentleman cashmere brands along with Smedley, Johnstons etc. that blur into one slightly boring tasteful blob for me but the quality is undeniable. I can't see my scarf on their site atm but maybe it came from the blanket section 😀

I got some Gucci floral perfume from DH, which was lovely, and some Issey Miyake perfume from my MIL which is also lovely but she buys me this for every single birthday and Christmas so I already have about 3 unopened bootlegs!

I’d asked for the perfume and earrings but the rest were lovely surprises

I got a nice green satin long sleeved top from Jigsaw which I’d seen when out with my boyfriend and a Perlier honey gift set (I love honey and Perlier) from him too.

From DB and SIL I got Dior blush in hologlam, a Monsieur Big mascara/eyeliner/eye makeup remover gift set, The Ordinary retinol (I asked for these) and Oliver Bonas Pearl sort of huggie earrings from DNephew (5).

I got Lacoste femme from DM (mentioned I’d run out of it) and navy M&S pyjamas and from stepdad I got Neals Yard honey gift set.

From a friend I got an english rose/rose quartz candle, a bracelet you put on essential oils on, and from another friend a L’Occitane verbena gift set, pastels big cuddly scarf, and gold diamanté heart keyring, dusky pink card section small purse. The latter 3 items I needed so was pleased with that!

An Apache London Mila bag in stone, Kitco make up organiser, an H & M taupe fleece, M & S merino wool v neck jumper, and some H & M dark red heart pyjamas.

The silver earrings are apparently on trend for 2024.

As far as style and beauty goes I gave my daughter's a hair care system. A nice dryer with diffuser, deep conditioning masque, hair towel turban thing and hair clips. She also hit a great jumper from her brother.

Dd brought me a fenty clear lip gloss to solve my problem of loving lipstick that is just too matte but a perfect colour.

dh brought me a jumper that I had asked for, Charlotte tilbury lip blur.
