I think your hair is too curly for that style-you'd be forever straightening it to achieve that look

It's not to say you wouldn't suit short hair-it just wouldn't look like hers unless you straightened it.
A short curly crop would look great.

I know what you mean. I love big heavy fringes (eg Claudia Winkleman) but have a cows lick so it looks ridiculous.
