Fair isle jumpers

I'm loving my fair isle jumper more and more every year, and wonder whether I should splash out on another one. It looks Christmas-y without being Christmas-y, which is particularly useful.

Where can I look for some lovely fair isle jumpers? I was looking forward to the Seasalt sale, but they seem to only have size 8s and 20s.

I have 3 now - just bought another today!

I have one from here www.thecrofthouse.com I love it, really toasty and looks good 3 years on. I tried a Celtic & Co one but it was really thin, hard to tell online.

I’ve got a lovely Celtic and Co one, but it looks dreadful on my (large) bosom sadly.

Good news, I have a tiny bosom!

I have 2 …an Eribe in bright yellow and a Brora woollen .. both cardigans.I would love a cashmere Brora fairisle but cannot justify the expense!
The Eribe one is my favourite!

I love Eribe ones but am sadly too fat.

They last and last though. A friend splurged on one when we were in Scotland for a 40th birthday party. We're all now pushing 50 and she is still wearing it regularly!

Also look at Ninian from Shetland. Their jumpers are in lovely soft lambswool as opposed to the more hardy Shetland wool other producers up there use.

I wish I hadn't got rid of the one I knitted, mind you there's no way I'd fit into it now, and I'm more sensitive to wool than I was.
