US MNers - best cotton underwear?

Hi there, hoping to use the US MNers fabulous knowledge...I've been buying VS cotton underwear for years (their multibuy cotton range, in silly patterns, or just plain), but I've not been able to visit the US since 2019, and when I've bought some VS pairs from the UK, they don't seem to have the same quality as the ones last bought from the US. What I don't know is whether the quality has just gone a bit downhill in the last 5 years, or whether the European market has a lower quality product.

If not VS, where would you go for good standard cotton bikini underwear? I'm not loving my UK offerings from M&S et al. I'm finally getting back to the US at Easter, so starting my shopping list 😀

Jockey underwear is comfortable well made brand available at Jockey stores and many department stores. They last for years.

So does anyone have any US experience of the VS pants? Have they gone down in quality in the last 5 years, or is it just the European market that has? If they're still as good, I'll just buy them from the US (they fit me well, and I like the variety of options).
