Lovely clothes, gorgeous kids stuff, not a 'poor' woman's Boden as much as a less ridiculously priced Boden. As posh and middle classy as Boden and they have shops in all the 'right' places .

SheherazadetheGoat · 15/03/2008 08:14

'poor woamn' still on the pricey side.

the girls clothes look lovely. did your dd like them fiofio?

lilymolly · 15/03/2008 08:16

they shrink when you tumble dry them!!
I always buy bigger sizes.

They are very "horsey, jolly hockey sticks"

But I like them

HelloMama · 15/03/2008 14:17

LOL! oh yes - its defintely not cheap stuff, but for some one who really cannot afford Boden I did think quite a few things in the Joules were not too bad. Agree with the 'horsey jolly hockey sticks' or 'rugger' cooments too! But it is nice stuff - especially for boys and girls - no commando print stuff in sight! I may be a bit brave and order a few things, although my wish list is about £500!

I don't suppose they do a free p&p offer or something do they?

even a 10% off would be nice

PatsyCline · 15/03/2008 19:04

I had my hands on some 'Joules' yesterday in the farm shop (says it all really!). It all seemed to be lovely quality - really nice, thick cotton for instance - and I was tempted to buy a top for DD1. However, the women's stuff in stock relied on horizontal stripes far too much for my liking.

Does anyone have any discount codes? I have a free p&p offer code (if spending over £75) if anyone wants it.

Their sizes are v. small, get one bigger IME.

GermaineSneer · 16/03/2008 22:36

they are small on bust

MrsBoo · 17/03/2008 16:10

The colours are never the same as in the brochure - so might not be as bright as you're expecting.
The poloshirts are very well made IMO, but some of the other stuff a bit disappointing.

Sizes are hit and miss at the moment too.

I also sent stuff back, and never got refunded - had to remind them!
My DS has a coat, and it has shrunk - only washed twice, and never tumble dried. So a crap

cazzybabs · 17/03/2008 16:13

i like their stuff - kids stuff seams to wask ok. but agree some of the colous are dull in real life ccompaired to the catelogue.
