Is this fake Charlotte Tilbury?

Hi, I wondered if any experts can help me! I ordered pillow talk eyeshadow palette off Vinted. I assumed it was from an advent calendar or something but it wa very cheap and seller looked genuine with good reviews, but I noticed after I purchased they had uploaded same item again, which set alarm bells off.

Ive received today but I haven’t got anywhere near by that sells CT to compare. The back label isn’t on straight.

It’s ok I’ve answered my own question via Google and just reported to Vinted!

Interested in what 'tells' tipped you off? For me it's the square colour boxes (should be rectangular) but are there other things to watch out for?

I had the same thing with a hourglass palette, it was the serial number that had been tampered with, I will not buying any more make up from ebay.

-Label wonky and has air bubble in it
-ingredients different to what’s listed in website
-no serial number or batch code- I believe this should be by the bar code on package
-i swatched it and pigment is very poor

i reported and Vinted have already refunded. Lesson learnt!

I know there are some fake sellers but just to give another view, I sell genuine makeup on ebay from Tilbury, bobbi brown etc always genuine as I usually get the free gift deals or mystery boxes.

If a potential customer wants proof of authenticity I am happy to send them a receipt with my personal details redacted.

Ebay are hot on fraudulent sellers but the odd few get through the net and then change to a new account when they get caught I guess.

@IDontHateRainbows yes I agree I have had bought some great bits off Vinted that have all been fine. I guess in this case the price was too good to be true!

I've noticed this with a lot of clothes. My DD wanted a stussy T-shirt and all the sellers have no previous reviews. Very suspect. I only buy from people with loads of good reviews now!

There are people on e bay selling Drunk Elephant products for 9.99 - I mean you just know it's not going to be real!

Oh really? I just bought an hourglass palette from eBay I’m worried it might not be real. Do you know a way I can verify whether or not it is?

The pans didn't look right to me.

I've had genuine CT make up with wonky labels so I wouldn't have thought much to that! Good eye!
