Are heated eyelash curlers any good?

I am an advertisers dream when it comes to anything promising longer, amazing looking lashes (yet, I'm still looking for the perfect mascara!!).
I have very short, light coloured lashes but lots of them.
An advert popped up on FB for a heated eyelash curler. I'm very tempted!
Are they any good? Do they actually create length?
I'm assuming you're not supposed to use them with contact lenses in?
Any info gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

I've used a hairdryer to heat my regular curler (gently!). That works... but you can end up crimping a tight kink into them.

I've never bothered buying a heated curler because the reviews are...lukewarm. 😉

I was recommended some on here and they're crap. Just splashed out on some old school manual Kevin Aucoin ones and they're the dog's.

No - eye lash curlers don’t create length. They work by fanning your lashes upwards and outwards.

Agree with pp- warm any eye lash curlers with a hairdryer (for a couple of seconds) and save your money!

I can’t think of a reason not to use eyelash curlers whilst wearing contact lenses. ?
