Need Christmas outfit - JL voucher to spend

I've a £50 John lewis voucher from my recent birthday that I've been saving for Christmas and haven't had chance to spend it yet. Ideally I'd like something to wear to a night out with my girl friends that's coming up before new years but struggling to find an outfit that's around that budget. Although to be fair, at this point, I'd be happy to spend an extra thirty or forty quid towards the right thing.

Help please! I always sway towards black blouses / red lips and starting to feel a bit same old, same old. So, would like something with a bit of sparkle

Have you looked at mint velvet? They sell it at JL. They have some lovely clothes and great quality.

They’ve got 30% off party bits on there website but not sure if the same stuffs discounted at John Lewis.

I tend to stick to dark colours for a slimming effect. Hate my arms and tum, quite like my legs and always hair curly
