Mine always look a bit scraggly. How are people getting them looking awesome (apart from being born with them like that?

Microblading but check practitioners example photos carefully to ensure it's a style you like.

Are they tattoos? Like you shave off your eyebrows and get that?

HD Brows

Familiaritybreedscontemptso · 11/12/2023 17:27

very regular threading (every 2 weeks) and microblading.

Microblading is tattooing but not with eyebrows shaved off, you keep your natural hairs as well. It just evens them up, covers gaps etc.

Do they do the threading for you there, or you go with it threaded?

How long does it last? Forever?

I know of someone who got eyebrows tattooed (I don't know if that's the same as microblading? They were a purple black (not on purpose, meant to be black. How does one avoid that?

Tint and thread every 3 weeks.

Hmmmbetterchangethis · 11/12/2023 17:35

Plucking the ones in the middle.

Not looking at them much, or thinking about them, or comparing them to other people’s, ensures I feel very happy about them.

KevinDeBrioche · 11/12/2023 17:36

HD brows here too. Top up with eyebrow tint / pencil as required in between visits

chloechloe · 11/12/2023 19:07

Benefit Gimme Brow ist amazing. It’s like mascara for your eyebrows- it has tiny fibers in it which fill in your brows to add shape, colour and volume.

Thekormachameleon · 11/12/2023 19:11

Regular tint and threading and brow glue day to day

What do they do to you?

Depends what look you want. I don’t like mine too heavy so get them threaded every 4 weeks and use a clear gel.

rockstarshoes · 11/12/2023 19:52

I had my brows laminated last week!

Really pleased with them!

Liamgallaghersparka · 11/12/2023 19:54

Basically plucking / shaping once a week and filling in with eyebrow powder using a spoolie.

TheGreatestAtuin · 11/12/2023 19:54

Microblading/hair stroke brows is brilliant. But very important to go to someone who knows what they're doing!

Frieda12 · 11/12/2023 19:55

Glossier Boy Brow is my go to product

Wendyspotatopeeler · 11/12/2023 19:56

HD brows every 7 weeks.

I had a monobrow when I was a teen, which in the 90s became thin arch brows. Now they are average sized and neat and the odd grey one gets tinted.

I use a brow gel or pencil to neaten them up in between appts.

Pablova · 11/12/2023 19:57

Tint and shape every 6 weeks.

Redcrayons · 11/12/2023 20:00

Threading every 3 weeks.

Due to overplucking in my teens, they aren’t as bushy as is the current fashion but still look good.

I’m naturally dark so they don’t need tinting.

This. And I dermaplane so that helps keep the shape

MaloneMeadow · 11/12/2023 22:09

Regular waxing with a really good beautician. I am not blessed whatsoever - my natural brows are a horrible shape and very bushy but waxed properly they are absolutely amazing! Since finding my current (and very talented) beautician I haven’t even needed to have them tinted or use any product on them at all. They’re fab on their own which I never thought I’d say!

The same lady who does my threading does my microblading, but that only needs doing once a year or so. It doesn’t have to be the same person though (but I really trust mine).

You need to find someone good to avoid the dodgy colours etc.

LylaLee · 11/12/2023 19:32

What do they do to you?

They basically wax the hair at the bridge of nose (the mono-brow bit) then either wax or pluck loose strands underneath. They then use a tint which covers all the remaining brown to deepen the look. No pain, and can last for weeks.
