What Uniqlo size is a 14-16?

My mum has asked for a fleece for Xmas. She's usually a 16, 18 if the top is a less baggy style.
Which size should I plump for in Uniqlo?

XL would be the most common size to go for, but please check the actual measurements, which are always given against the specific garment, as this is really useful to assess the fit. I am an 18-20, usually an XXL but have a M in one garment!

Agree with others. I’d get an XXL if it’s fitted. Got a fleece for DD last year (usually XS) and I had to exchange it for a small.

I find their tops come up snug, so even when a size 6-8 in other brands (difficult to be specific as brands vary so wildly) I was a M or even L depending on cut and how I wanted it to look.

I think go for the actual measurements and up one if not sure

Uniqlo have a really good size calculator based on height, weight, age, shape and bust size. It's always worked for me.

I am a 14/16 and pear shaped and I tend to go for M to L on top and XL on bottom at Uniqlo.
