OMG, first mini skirt in 25 years - which one?

After a lifetime of “my legs are too fat” (size 8, it’s all in my head), I went out and bought a mini skirt, proper mid thigh. I love how it looks, have short and tall boots to wear with it.

However, that particular skirt I will return as not happy with quality. I would like to buy another one, but just one for now. Whatever I buy, I will wear with various thickness black tights.

What would be the most versatile option if I just buy one?

Black tweed
Denim
Faux leather
Real leather
Cord
What else?

Thank you.

It really depends on how and where you will wear it. If it's to work, then tweed or wool, if it's casual, then denim or cord. If it's for going out, then leather. It sounds like you need a few!

Get onto Vinted and buy one of each!

Also well done for finally feeling the love for your legs! Also a size 8 and have always thought I have fat legs so I feel you!

Faux leather works for casual, work and going out. Win:win:win for me.

Ooh sounds fab! Mini skirts are one thing I will never be able to wear (really, for you it’s I’m the head but for me it’s real 😂). I love how black tweed and black leather minis look. Tweed is especially great with long boots imho.
