What tights with this dress (pic) ?

Wearing this to my xmas do this weekend. As much as i wish i had the legs of this model i definitely do not so want to pair it with some black tights, can anyone help with what ones would look best?

I’m generally in the “black tights are always fine in winter” camp, but I don’t think you can make them work with that dress. You need nudes.

I'd look at tights that have a subtle shimmer

I agree with PP.

i think the only way that you could MAYBE make this dress work with black tights (and it’s still hard to say without seeing more images of the dress) is if you were to pair with a pair of patent Dr Marten boots. But overall, I’m really not sure about black tights with this dress.

I'm no fashionista, but I'd go with either no tights or nude ones. If you're wearing open toed shoes tights might not be an option

oh no goes to show how much i know!! i've just tried with some old black tights does this really not look right?! i had a baby 3 months ago i really don't feel comfortable yet having so much leg on show Blush

I love black tights, but they really don't work with that dress, sorry.

Maybe just about if you got a pair of super sheer black tights? But even then, sheer nude tights would look much better.

Your figure looks great OP! But black tights really don't go with that dress IMO so don't do it, or you, justice. Agree with others that nude tights are the way to go here.

Your figure is lovely and your legs are too. Just wear a nice pair of nudes. Definitely not black, it looks a bit cheap tbh with that dress (which looks lovely on you)

Black tights make the dress look cheap. You can see them through the skirt.
You have fantastic legs, let them be the star of the show with decent nude tights. Look for some with support to smooth out the baby lumpiness. Also always wear big knickers so there is no vpl.

Gosh, you look fabulous in the dress! But I agree with PPs, slightly shimmery nudes would be the way forward for me.

Black tights don't look right, you look amazing nude tights with a sheen will be perfect!

How about some bright coloured tights? I think dark red tights would look great with that dress! Also would look very festive. I agree you have a fantastic figure.

Going against the grain, I think it looks fine with the black tights. More casual, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Pair it with a leather jacket and maybe a Moschino/Westwood/Lulu Guinness style black clutch bag and you're grand.

Sorry, but I agree that black tights just don't look right with that dress. You wear it well however.
