Help, I don't like my hair when it's clean

I wash my hair about every six days. I dislike it when it's freshly washed; it's limp, flat and too silky. I like how it looks by about day 4-5 when it's got some roughness and volume and the wave from the straighteners has dropped a bit. I suppose I can solve the straightener issue by doing a looser wave to start with (although I suspect it will drop out in no time) but what products do I need for the texture and volume problem?

Here are photos of my clean and dirty hair. I dry with a Revlon One Step using heat protect spray and John Frieda volume lift spray on the roots. Thanks

It might be worth trying a beach wave spray? This one is not bad

Yeah - I was going to suggest a surf/salt spray as op has.

Bumble and bumble do a good one too.

My hairdresser always uses a bit of dry shampoo in my hair after she's finished to add a bit of texture.

Morrocon oil dry texture spray is the best !!
(Hairstylist I use it for the same reason )

Most texturisers make my hair huge.
