Oodie sizing for short adult

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help with Oodie sizing - specifically the width of adult and of child oodies.

I want to buy one as a gift for a family member who loves the warmth/comfort aspect but doesn’t want to feel swamped. They have a disability that affects their sense of touch. I’m wondering if I can get away with a child Oodie to achieve a more fitted feel?

She’s a size 12/14 but is quite short (under 5ft so lengthwise a child Oodie is perfect.

I’m just under 5ft and a size 10/12. My 8 yr old DDs unbranded koala ‘oodie’ bought from amazon is age 7-13, it is still quite baggy on me and comes down to my knees.

I would expect she would need adult for the width
You could buy a fluffy jumper instead maybe.
The whole point of the oodie is to be oversized.

Don't expect it to arrive this side of Christmas. 1000 's have been waiting over a month for delivery
