I have googled, and what I am looking for is a knee / calf length navy blue cardigan ( preferably with buttons ) which is the functional equivalent of putting on your dressing gown. I have seen a couple but probably too light ( weight ) Budget if it is really nice would be up o £100, joint present from DH and son - if it is a bit more expensive I'm sure family can rally round. So prepared to look at a bit more expensive
