Opinions on this dress....Nice or tacky??

I'm really trying to control my spending so been looking for a party dress on a budget. Have stumbled on this one from Asda and quite like it.....thoughts?

Have bought a few bits from Asda in the pasr and always been pleasantly surprised at the quality. I'm thinking it might look better on than in the picture - with black tights and heeled ankle boots....

It might get warm if you're planning on dancing!

I think the material itself doesn't look the best quality and the fit of it on the model doesn't seem like it's been cut quite right if I'm honest.

To be fair I think it's not modelled in the best way. I'm convinced it would look better in real life but I really don't want everyone thinking I'm wandering around in a bin bag so maybe it's back to the drawing board 😂

It looks wipe clean. Which fo be fair could be a very useful quality in a party dress.

The wrinkling on the sleeves and under the boobs is what makes it look cheap. I think it might be worse in real life as they’ve probably pinned it. Other than that it would be quite fun.

I can see what they are going for, but it does look like cheap fake leather. There is a bin bag feel to it. I suspect in real life it would look cheap and fake leather and that’s never a great look.

I think the cut isn't working at all - the v neck hits at an odd point and looks odd with the choice of sleeves. Like someones put a quite pedestrian/dowdy t-shirt shape on a high waist skirt. It's not for me. I don't mind a leather skirt though and think it would be just better to get a skirt and choose a nice top than it would to go for this.

Unless your waist and bust hit in exactly the right place then I think it also has potential to fit horribly.
