What tights with cream chunky jumper dress?

And black boots…? Black? Would that look ok? Or would a kind of greyish (or grey) faun work?

Dress is arran style so I don’t know if it’s ok with plain 40 or 60 denier smooth tights? Or would a woolly type or ribbed be better?!

the dress is just above the knee and boots are mid calf so there would be a reasonable amount of ‘tight’ showing!

Thanks ichundich! I’m leaning towards grey ribbed too… does navy work though, even if boots are black? I’ve not tried navy tights with black boots before. Am a bit clueless when it comes to tights in general!

Grey is better

If you have grey/fawn boots, they would probably look nicer. Try to get the same colour for tights. I think if you wore black boots, then grey or black transparent tights. I think solid black would be a bit harsh.

And I feel your pain! I have a really nice sweater dress in a grey/beige colour that I have such a hard time with. I've done black tights with black boots, but I know there is something better!

I do actually have grey boots!!! I’d forgotten them as not worn them
since about Feb! I will look for tights that tone in.
