Beauty gift for young nieces

I have three nieces, one is 13, the other two are 11 (twins). I don’t really know them all that well because they live on the continent, so we only see them a couple of times a year and there’s a language barrier. I’m finding it increasingly difficult to choose presents for them as they get older. I asked MIL what they’re into (hard to get anything out of SILs) and she said girlie beauty stuff - it’s all they’re interested in at the moment.

I had a look in Boots and Superdrug but realised I didn’t have a clue what’s fashionable for this age group. Theoretically I should - I’m in possession of my own 13yo DD, but she’s not interested in this sort of thing yet.

Any advice? Budget is about £15-£20 each. If only Body Shop baskets with a soap, bath pearls and a little bottle of Dewberry spray were still a thing…

Drunk Elephant, nip and fab,Florence by Mills (Millie Bobby Brown), Fenty are all popular brands around here.

Lush bath bombs.

Sol de janeiro is really popular with young teens. The sets are on sale in cult beauty and look fantastic (£16.50).

If you don't know them well then don't buy makeup or skincare. Bath and body gift sets and nail polish are good options.

christmas sheet masks, hand mask, foot masks (under a pound from home bargains)
lip scrubs and balms from primark
makeup brush set from primark
shower foam from primark
fun sponge, eye masks primark
body sprays, Superdrug do Victoria’s Secret I think or similar

My 13 yearold loves sheet masks, bonus points if they are Korean or Japanese. Sol de Janeiro is indeed a big hit, and lip scrubs and oils are huge. ELF glitter liquid eyeshadow seems popular too.

Body Shop I'm afraid is 'so cringe' 😀
