Skin care- oil and moisturiser - together/ separate help!

I bought a look fantastic fancy box for myself.
Hair stuff I know what to do but the face stuff?
Amazing Elimis night cream- superfood night cream which smells amazing!
But
It's got a face oil which is great but do I use it before/after/instead of moisturiser?
Also some Elisabeth arden capsules again how do I use them?

I apply a serum, oil then moisturiser

Some people prefer moisturiser then oil

Sometimes I just apply oil

Sometimes just serum then oil

Or serum then moisturiser

As for the capsules apply directly to skin and if your skin feels dry later then apply a moisturiser

It really depends on how dry my skin is feeling

I've googled it and more confused.
I've been using the oil in the morning and moisturiser in the evening.
Serum then moisturiser ill do. Haven't used them yet.

If you use SPF (which you deffo should be) then the oil can interfere with it and make it less effective, so it’s better to do oil under moisturiser in the morning, or to skip the oil entirely. In the evening it’s basically down to preference/what works for your skin.

I admit I don't use spf. I wfh and rarely leave the house.
But I'll try oil under moisturiser.

I read somewhere (maybe Caroline Hirons) that moisturiser should be thought of like a raincoat. I only apply when I feel my skin needs it - I use oil after serum, them SPF. I use moisturiser sporadically

Anyone used the Elisabeth arden serum capsules?

I do serum, moisturiser, then oil, I find it helps lock in the moisture.

I'm 46 so feel like I need to up Mt skincare game hence the beauty box

I do serum, moisturiser then oil at night. In the morning I do serum, moisturiser then spf. Oil isn't good with spf.
I would use the capsules in place of serum
