Fine black jumper to go with this skirt???

Help me escape from the rabbit hole of jumpers!
I picked up this New Look skirt cheap today. Normally I avoid skirts because I carry my weight round the middle but, this was cheap and pretty!
I cannot style it like the model (due to said middle fatness). I think a thin, loose, draped black jumper would work. But I can’t find one that isn’t £££ or cashmere- which I can’t wear due to wool allergies
Any help??

Have a look at Uniqlo merino wool jumper, I have a black one which is exactly as you describe.

I got this last week from M&S to wear over a similar skirt I was struggling to style. It’s very fine but comes up fairly close fitting. I sized up to give it a bit more drape and it’s perfect.

The shape is pretty good- if I bought a bigger, looser size. But I can’t wear wool or cashmere. It brings me out in hives!

That M&S one is 100% acrylic.

How about this? Not a jumper but would work well with the skirt - and hide your middle but still define your waist.

Can't link sorry but it's 17.99 or they do a more fitted one (which is thicker)which is about 25ish.
