Are Ted Baker men’s shirts true to size?

Would a size 3 equate to a medium from places such as next, joules etc or is Ted Baker on the small side?

IME they're on the small side and quite a slim waist (although my DH isn't anything like a size 3 so I can't comment on that size specifically!)

No, no way. My husband is tiny and wears 2 or 3. 2 would be h&m small, 3 maybe h&m medium. Assuming next men's clothes are as generously sizes as their women's, that would mean you need 4 or 5.

DH is normally a L as he's tall and has fairly broad shoulders. I've just checked a couple of his TB shirts and they're a 4. They're a slim fit on him.

My partner wears a 3 from Ted Baker & a medium in Next.

Thank you. Not bought a TB shirt for a number of years, historically my husband used to wear a size 4 but having found an old one in his wardrobe it looks bigger than the medium shirts he has more recently from elsewhere, so I was a bit unsure as to whether to go with a 3 or 4.

I think they have extended their Christmas returns, so might be worth buying both and returning the wrong one in January!
