I have seen Studio Nicholson mentioned on here. They have collaborated with Zara and its online now.

Did you like anything. I looked earlier and really expected I’d want to buy but nothing convinced me.

Thanks op, I'd have missed this otherwise.

It was mostly too death-by-black for my taste, plus in any case I'm all spent up until 2024. But quite a few 100% wool things. I did look at the asymmetrical denim skirt but couldn't figure out what was asymmetrical about it and gave up.

I was struck by some of the styling (admittedly it might be typical for Zara - I find their website exhausting so never stay on it long). E.g. straight, calf length skirt with equally straight blazer and what look like sheer black tights - reminiscent of those badly fitting 90s suits (or were they 80s? I forget). No attempt to 'show off your figure' - it won't go down well on here Grin

Found the assymetry. It's the seam, not the hem. I quite like it and the shirt dress but I'm all maxed out after after an impulsive , in shop, Casey Casey jacket purchase.

This collection will go down a storm here (not)- nothing to "show off your figure" and all the models are "glowering"

Aha you have better eyesight than me IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle, thank you!
I like it too, though not enough to buy.

I do credit them for going for 100% wool in the tailored pieces. I don't think even Jil Sander managed that when she did the Uniqlo collabs?
Trenchcoat also nice.

IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle · 25/11/2023 10:48

The trenchcoat is lovely - although I can't possibly justify another oversized trenchcoat.

The website is infuriating.

Ooh thanks OP, I thought this wasn't due until Monday. I think SN shapes need proper weighty fabrics to work, so am a bit dubious. The trench and selvedge denim jeans look reasonable in pics -- though at £65 I suspect they're going for the 'It's raw denim darling, it's supposed to turn to shit if you wash it' no returns get-out clause.

It’s not my personal style but I have seen them mentioned on here. I do believe they have done homeware too.

@IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle agree about the website!

Thank you for mentioning it. I wasn't aware of it.
