Budget c.£125, Christmas pressie for me. Looking for a lovely snuggly, slightly oversized cream, polo/roll neck jumper. V classic, I'd love cashmere but budget won't stretch. Needs to be machine washable. Any ideas? Thank you!

Under budget but Uniqlo’s cashmere is usually pretty good. Did you want something more chunky though?

A quick Google shows M&S & Uniqlo Cream jumpers in Cashmere for under £100. M&S are definitely machine washable, but if you want snuggly you need to size up. I buy a 24 & an normally a14. Uniqlo are generally not generous enough for me.

If you buy from Uniqlo buy from the menswear section, the women’s cashmere jumpers are pitifully thin this year. And if you order online be aware that they have a tendency for returns to go “missing” on arrival at their warehouse and it’s a fight to get your money back.
