does anyone like any of the high street stores these days?

following on from cod's m&s thread I guess. I've bought a couple of nice things from M&S but most of their womens clothes are a bit dull, colours are off! But I find the same in a lot of the high street atm.. Next I don't like that much any more, Dotty P's.. I go in and come straight out again! Used to find lots of stuff in there. which shops are still good? Maybe I just don't like today's fashions that much... I am too old?!

Jigsaw. Got some nice stuff when I was in England last week.

Banana REpublic - opening on regent st next week - Thank God! only any good if you are in the London area.

Not been in Jigsaw for a long while - there is one in Manchester. Is it ££?

White Stuff I do like but can only get online mainly. Mango I've not been in there for ages either! Will have a look next time.

Maybe we are all getting a bit old.
The stuff in the shops now just seems obscure and unwearable at the mo.

gap is great but it ain't built to last
i'm quite liking french connection/great plains but some of it is v young

I like New look for their extra long jeans, and some of their tops actually fit me as well

think it might just be a bad season. went to oxford circus last week to shop for something to wear for a wedding, and came back empty-handed.

loads of lovely casual gear in uniqlo and topshop though.
