Have heard great things about Vit C so please recommend your best Vitamin C skincare products

I’m using the Inkey List serum but I can’t say it’s doing anything. I won’t buy it again, but I’ll keep on using the vit C miscellar water.

I like Tula Bright Start - moisturiser with vitamin C. Not cheap though. I got a full sized one free when I bought something else from them and have gone on to buy it again.

I use Olay vit C cream, it has a lovely fragrance (I have sensitive skin but no irritation from it) and it absorbs in nicely. I do have great skin at the moment but it's hard to pin it on one thing tbh as 1) I have made a few changes to my skincare routine and 2) my skin is greatly affected by the time in my cycle.

I had the No7 vitamin c toner in a gift set and liked it far more than more expensive brands.

wokbun · 19/11/2023 08:36

The vichy serum is good for beginners

cuthbertthecat · 19/11/2023 09:19

I tend to change mine every time I run out.

Have liked the revolution one and the bliss one. Bliss one is my favourite.

Currently using the Salli Hughes one which is ok.

I hated the inkey list one. Had a bodyshop one I found too claggy, same with geek and gorgeous

Dh got me a garnier one for my birthday next. It came in a set with a sheet mask that I have used and liked so fingers crossed.

shockeditellyou · 19/11/2023 09:20

I liked the Eucerin one, but it was a bit pricey

MehIsAsGoodAsItGets · 19/11/2023 09:22

iv just ordered the new Dermatica one as they have a BF discount. Not tried it yet but so far I like Dermatica skincare so hoping it’s good.

BestIsWest · 19/11/2023 09:23

I use the No 7 one too. I got it free and think it’s great.

gano · 19/11/2023 09:24

I like revolution 12.5% serum. I ran out a week ago and noticed my skin has been looking a bit lacking.

Cedar13 · 19/11/2023 09:32

Revolution one is good and not expensive

Beetlewings · 19/11/2023 10:11

I got a Murad vitamin c SPF moisturiser in the M&S advent calendar (yes I have opened the lot already 💪) and it's amazing

Which brand is the vitamin c water please ?

Vitamin C is very unstable and to do anything needs to be of high concentration, kept in the fridge and used within 6 months.
Most products have concentrations too low to do anything and the vitamin C will have degraded so will not be working.

Butterflyfern · 21/06/2024 10:07

I use one from Florence Bio Consmesi that I order from Amazon. I've never had an oxidation problem and it just smells of oranges.

Is it reacting with other products on your skin? I only use vitc serum and a basic oil free moisturiser
