Long to short hair - advice?

So I've cut it very short after an illness where I was in bed for a few days and it got horribly matted.

Didn't consider winter is coming up so I definitely need:

  1. Hats to keep ears warm
  2. Patience
  3. Hair clips/hairbands

I also had conjunctivitis but that's cleared up so I can wear eye makeup again.

It's dark blonde but obviously was lighter at the ends so can anyone recommend a colour deposit shampoo or mousse?

Bump 🙂

Perhaps I should have put the title as brightening it up a little.

My first thought was definitely "hat to keep your ears warm". Try on several types, not just your usual style - the hats that looked good when I had a pixie cut don't look good with the bob I have now I've grown it out and vice versa.

Patience is definitely the most difficult bit, I grew mine out because of lockdown and not being able to get it cut as otherwise I'd have hated the interim stage too much. Get used to styling it in a different way, you'll need less product and possibly a lot less time! It took next to no time for me to be ready to leave the house with a pixie cut. I miss that...

Don't forget styling products - there's a fine line between a bit of interesting texture and matted with glue. VO5 Styling Wax is a good one.
